Enel X Global Head of Ultra Broadband Business
Stefano joined ENEL in 2017 as head of the global Fiber Optic Infrastructure, and head of the global Business Line E-CITY. Following the acquisition of a participation from ENEL X in UFINET, a leading wholesale Telecom Operator present in 14 Countries in Latin America, he has joined the Board as Executive Chairman of the Company.
Stefano started his career in R&D more than 25 years ago, progressively moving to various leadership roles within TIM, KPN-Qwest, and AT&T based in various locations across Europe, Latin America and USA. In the last ten years, he served from out Italy as President and CEO of ALCATEL-LUCENT for Italy and the Mediterranean Region and more recently as CEO and General Manager of SIRTI, a leading Italian Engineering Company operating with more than 4,000 people in the Telecom sector. Stefano is a reserve Officer of the Italian Navy, he holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree with honors and is married with three children.
